Groan, gasp and grunt

Those are the sounds of me trying to climb stairs, get up out of a chair or otherwise utilize my legs for mobility.  I see lots of vitamin C and water in my future.  A soak in a very hot bathtub may be in order as well.

  1. Attitude makes a world of difference. Those are ALSO the sounds of your muscles getting stronger and toner. Make sure you remember that next time and change a moan into a little “yay!”

    • Yes Ma’am, attitude makes a whole lot of difference. Once the muscles started to move and warm up I welcomed the soreness as a sign of effort on my part – an effort that I would have avoided in the past!
